Peas are planted!

This first batch as planted on March 15 and they are coming along great! I think cucumbers will follow these in this garden bed this year. The cukes will be supported by the fence that was put up for the peas! The chickens and our home compost provided some great amendments to this rejuvenated piece of the garden that formerly had a huge amount of garlic chives growing in it. The garlic chives are very much loved by pollinators, but I have plenty in other parts of the garden for our pollinator friends!
